Green living ideas for your Albuquerque home

Here's a great green living idea for your Albuquerque, New Mexico home - I'm always looking for great ways to live green, making life simple and healthy for the planet.  This article caught my eye today...

I've really enjoyed growing my own herbs this year, and peppers and tomatoes...instead of buying seasonal flowers that need to be dug up and transplanted every year, I've been growing herbs that I can use in my kitchen!  Some of them will grow back after the winter freeze, so there's less throwing away of the plastic pots and materials that come with buying new plantings every season.

I hope you enjoy this helpful hint for you green Albuquerque home!
